Visit to National Geographic, London

I was happy to be invited to spend the day telling stories at the National Geographic Store in its new location just opposite Harrods. With its cuddly animals, welcoming atmosphere and Persian carpet, it’s an ideal space for storytelling. I really like these stills by the photographer Jose Farinha. (His website has some excellent pictures on it – I especially like the photos of his neighbours!)

This is supposed to be the Indian Ocean:

A story from Persia. There’s something moving inside that tiny bottle… but what?

Left: Look out, there’s something odd in that water you’re about to drink… and right: Time to go home yet?

Must be time for the goodbye song…
