“Stories of the Sun” and celestial alchemy in Leighton House

Ever since forever, it has been my not-so-secret wish to tell stories after closing time the extraordinary, eccentric and extravagant surroundings of Leighton House Museum.

Last Friday I did!

I’ve done plenty of museum “lates” before- but usually storytelling is just one of the attractions on offer.

However on Friday I got a whole late to myself. We explored the magical corners of the building and I told my favourite myths of the sun and stars- of the secrets of life and death…

We also had drinks from the Wild Alchemy Lab run by Mama Xanadu  (themed on the stories!)

I didn’t take any photos so I was really grateful to other people for giving me the chance to remember the evening

@MelindaHaunton took this one

And Defelilo took these three… >>

>>Thank you so very much to the staff from Leighton House especially Ana Garcia and Charlotte Villiers.

And the very biggest thank you to the audience who listened, imagined and came on the journey with me!
