As performers:
We are committed to providing welcoming, inclusive events where unique individuals can come together companionably and enjoy the wonder of storytelling.
We are committed to providing inclusive, welcoming story content.
We will make thoughtful and considered choice about story content in our performances, in particular when our stories touch on world mythology, world folklore, history or any traditional material.
We will provide content warnings when needed and invite honest feedback.
We aim to include and welcome everyone to our events regardless of age, social class, financial situation, health, Disability, gender, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy or parenthood, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, offending past or caring responsibilities. We aim to dismantle barriers to inclusion and listening.

As programmers:
We recognise that, as a small arts organisation with limited funds, we are not always successful in creating events which are fully accessible for Disabled people and those with health issues. We are currently working to improve this aspect of our work by: improving wheelchair accessibility and provision of wheelchair toilets, creating social media posts which work for screen readers & applying for funding for more BSL interpretation as well as to provide more video/online access for events. Our new website ConnectionWithWonder.com will be designed with accessible principles and features We will continue to work towards change and improvement in this area.
We will seek out artists who celebrate and reflect the breadth of human experience in London. We will programme a wide range of storytelling voices. We will constantly challenge ourselves to make sure that we have the knowledge and skills to support the artists we work with and the confidence to challenge systemic prejudice when we witness it.
We will continue to invite comment, listen, refine, improve and reconsider our events, performances, actions and policies to ensure that we are always actively working towards fairness, kindness, safety and welcome for all.
